How Do You Make a Full Bleed Image on Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:24 am

When it comes to creating full bleed images on Squarespace, there are two key things you need to take into account: the size of your image, and the margins around it.

The first thing to consider is the size of your image. Full bleed images are typically wider than they are tall, so you’ll need an image that’s at least 1200px wide. The height of the image isn’t as important, but it should be tall enough that it won’t look too stretched out.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with the term “bleed,” it is a printing term that refers to the printing that extends to the edge of the paper after trimming. To create a full bleed image on Squarespace, you will need to first create a blank page. Next, upload your image to the page. Finally, click on the “Design” tab and select “Full Bleed” from the drop-down menu.

Once you have your image sized correctly, the next thing to do is to add some margins around it. The margins should be set to 0px, and they should be added to both the top and bottom of the image.

Once you’ve done this, your image will be ready to be used as a full bleed image on Squarespace!
