How do you make a mockup in Figma?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 7:12 pm

Making a mockup in Figma is fairly simple. To get started, create a new document and select the Mockup template.

This will create a basic mockup with a placeholder figure and text. To add your own figure and text, simply drag and drop them into the document.

PRO TIP: When creating a mockup in Figma, be sure to use the correct dimensions for your project. If you are unsure of the dimensions, please consult a professional. Additionally, be sure to save your work frequently as mockups can take some time to complete.

Once your mockup is complete, you can preview it in the preview window on the right-hand side of the screen. To create a copy of the mockup for use in a different project, simply select the Copy button on the toolbar.

Finally, to create a final version of the mockup that you can use in your project, select the Save button on the toolbar. This will create a copy of the mockup with the correct file name and location.
