How do you make a mockup in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 7:37 pm

Making a mockup in Photoshop can be a great way to conceptually capture the look and feel of your final product. First, create a new document and set the dimensions to your desired size. Next, start by creating a background that is similar in color and style to your final product. To create the mockup’s main elements, start by selecting the objects that you want to be included in the final product. For example, if you are creating a mockup for a website, you would select the website’s logo, background image, and text. Once you have selected the objects, you can start to add them to the document.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that there are many ways to create a mockup in Photoshop. Some methods may be more complex than others. If you are not familiar with the software, we recommend that you seek out tutorials or ask for help from someone who is more experienced.

To add the objects, use the techniques that you learned in Photoshop to add layers, adjust their opacity, and position them where you want them. Once you have finished adding the layers, you can start to create the mockup’s effects. For example, if you are creating a mockup for a website, you can add layers to create the website’s banner, background image, and text effects. Once you have finished creating the effects, you can save the mockup and share it with your team to get feedback.
