Monograms are a great way to add a personal touch to your designs, and Canva’s easy-to-use tools make creating them a breeze. Here’s how you can make your own monogram in just a few simple steps:

    1. Choose a template

First, head to Canva’s homepage and choose the “Create a design” option. Then, select “Use custom dimensions” and enter in your desired width and height. For this example, we’ll use 500×500 pixels.

    2. Find the perfect font

Once you’ve chosen your canvas size, it’s time to pick out a font for your monogram. Canva has over 130 different fonts to choose from, so you’re sure to find one that fits your style. For this example, we’ll use the “Lobster Two” font.

    3. Enter your initials

Now it’s time to enter your initials into the design. Simply click on the text box and type in your letters. If you want to change the font size or color, you can do so by using the options in the toolbar above the canvas.

PRO TIP: This article is about how to make a monogram in Canva, but it does not mention anything about the risks of using Canva. Canva is a free online design platform that is often used by people with little to no design experience. This can lead to designs that are not up to professional standards.

    4. Add some flair

To really make your monogram pop, try adding some extra design elements like shapes or lines. Canva has over 1 million different illustrations and icons to choose from, so you can easily find something that fits your aesthetic. For this example, we’ll add a simple circle behind our initials.

    5. Download and share

Once you’re happy with your design, simply click the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and select the file format you want to use. You can also share your design directly to social media or via email by clicking on the “Share” button.

Creating a monogram in Canva is easy and only takes a few minutes! With over 130 fonts to choose from and millions of illustrations and icons, you can easily create a design that fits your style.
