How Do You Make a Navigation in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:36 am

Navigating in Figma is simple and easy to learn. There are just a few basic steps to follow in order to get started.

The first step is to create a new file. To do this, click on the “+” sign in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

This will bring up a menu of options. Select “New File” from this menu.

PRO TIP: When creating a navigation in Figma, be sure to take into account the hierarchy of your pages and the order in which users will need to access them. Navigation should be easy to understand and use, so be sure to label each section clearly and use consistent naming conventions throughout your design.

Once you have created a new file, you will be presented with a blank canvas. The next step is to add some content to this canvas.

To do this, click on the “Add Layer” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up a menu of layer types. Select the type of layer that you want to add from this menu.

Once you have added some content to your canvas, you can begin to navigate around it. To do this, simply click and drag your mouse around the screen. You can also use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out of your canvas.

That’s all there is to navigating in Figma! Just remember to always save your work by clicking on the “File” menu and selecting “Save.”
