Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. It’s used by some of the world’s best companies, including Facebook, Uber, and Airbnb. And it’s completely free to use.

Whether you’re designing a website, app, or anything else, patterns are an essential part of the design process. They help you to createrepeatable elements that can be used throughout your design. And with Figma, creating patterns is easy.

To create a pattern in Figma, first select the element that you want to turn into a pattern. Then click on the “Create Pattern” button in the toolbar. This will open up the Pattern Editor.

In the Pattern Editor, you can give your pattern a name and description. You can also specify whether you want the pattern to be tileable or not. If you want the pattern to be tileable, then you need to select the “Tile” option in the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: This article contains instructions on how to make a pattern on Figma. However, it is important to note that Figma is a paid software and you will need to have a subscription in order to use it. In addition, the author provides no warning about the potential risks of using Figma, such as data loss or corruption.

Once you’ve given your pattern a name and description, you can start adding elements to it. To do this, simply drag and drop elements from your design into the Pattern Editor. You can also add new elements by clicking on the “+” button in the toolbar.

Once you’ve added all of the elements that you want to include in your pattern, you can click on the “Done” button. This will close the Pattern Editor and add your new pattern to the library.

To use your new pattern, simply drag and drop it from the library into your design. You can also resize and rotate it just like any other element in Figma.
