How Do You Make a Scratch Brush in Photoshop?

A scratch brush is a Photoshop brush that simulates the look of scratches on a surface. You can create a scratch brush in Photoshop by first creating a new document and then choosing the “Brush” tool from the toolbar.

Next, you will need to select a brush tip from the options menu and then set the size, shape, and hardness of the brush tip. Once you have set the brush tip, you can begin painting with it on the document.

PRO TIP: When making a scratch brush in Photoshop, be sure to use a very low opacity so that the brush does not damage the image. Also, be sure to test the brush on a separate layer before using it on the image itself.

To create scratches, you will need to use a light touch and make sure that the brush is set to a low opacity. You can also add depth to the scratches by using multiple layers.

To do this, simply create a new layer and then paint on it with the scratch brush. You can also change the color of the scratches by selecting a different color from the “Color” palette.

Once you have created your scratches, you can save them as a brush preset by clicking on the “Edit” menu and choosing “Preset Manager.” From here, you can give your scratch brush a name and then click on the “OK” button to save it.
