How Do You Make a Wix Header Sticky?

A sticky header, or “sticky navbar”, is a menu that stays at the top of the screen when you scroll down. It’s a great way to keep your visitors’ attention focused on your most important links.

There are two ways to create a sticky header in Wix:

1. Use the Header & Footer app
2. Add code to your site

If you’re using the Header & Footer app, simply check the “sticky” option in the header settings. If you’re adding code, you’ll need to use the sticky-kit library.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML or coding, we do not recommend trying to make a Wix header sticky. Sticky headers can be tricky to implement, and if done incorrectly, can cause major problems with your website.

Once you’ve added the code, you can style your sticky header using CSS. For example, you could change the background color or add a border.
