How Do You Make Animations on Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:07 am

There are a few different ways that you can make animations on Wix.

The first way is to use the Wix Animation Editor. This is a simple editor that allows you to add animations to your Wix website without having to code anything.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

All you need to do is select the element that you want to animate, and then choose the animation that you want to apply to it.

If you want more control over the animations on your Wix website, then you can use the Wix HTML5 Animation Library. This library gives you access to a wide range of different animations that you can use on your website.

All of the animations in this library are coded in HTML5, so they will work on all modern browsers.

PRO TIP: We strongly advise against using Wix to create animations. The platform is not equipped to handle the demands of animation creation, and you will likely run into significant issues if you attempt to use it for this purpose. In addition, the quality of the animations you create on Wix will likely be poor, and they will not meet the standards of most professional animation studios.

If you want even more control over the animations on your Wix website, then you can use CSS3 animations. These are more complex than the other two methods, but they give you a lot more flexibility when it comes to creating your own custom animations.

No matter which method you choose, adding animations to your Wix website is a great way to make it stand out from the competition.

How Do You Make Animations on Wix?

There are three main ways that you can make animations on Wix- by using the Wix Animation Editor, by using the Wix HTML5 Animation Library, or by using CSS3 animations.

The first way is to use the Wix Animation Editor. All you need to do is select the element that you want to animate, and then choose the animation that you want to apply to it.

The second way is by using the Wix HTML5 Animation Library. This library gives access to a wide range of different animations that can be used on websites- all of which are coded in HTML5 and therefore work with all modern browsers.

The third way, and arguably the most complex of the three, is by using CSS3 Animations. This method gives users a lot more control over customizing their own animations; however it requires more knowledge about coding than the previous two methods.

Adding animations to websites created through Wix is a great way make them stand out from others who may not have added any sort of movement or life onto their pages.
