Canva is a free online design platform that allows users to create stunning designs for all sorts of purposes, from presentations and flyers to social media posts and even nutrition labels!

Creating a Nutrition Label in Canva

1. To get started, head over to canva.com and either create a new design or open an existing one.

2. Once you’re in the editor, click on the “Text” button in the left-hand sidebar.

3. A pop-up window will appear with all sorts of text options. Choose the “Nutrition Label” option.

4. A new nutrition label will be added to your design. You can edit the text by clicking on it and typing whatever you want.

5. To change the serving size, click on the “Serving Size” field and type in a new number.

6. To add or remove items from the label, click on the “+” or “-” buttons next to each section.

7. When you’re happy with your label, click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner and choose whether you want to download it as a PNG or JPG file.

PRO TIP: Canva is a great tool for creating nutrition labels, but there are a few things to keep in mind when using it. First, be sure to enter accurate information into the nutrition label fields. Canva will automatically generate the calories and other nutritional information based on the information you provide, so it’s important to be as accurate as possible.

Second, remember that the nutrition label is only an estimate. The exact nutritional content of your food may vary depending on the ingredients and methods used. Therefore, it’s important to use the nutrition label as a guide, rather than relying on it for precise information.

Finally, keep in mind that the FDA has specific requirements for nutrition labels, so be sure to check their guidelines before creating your label. Failure to comply with FDA regulations could result in your label being rejected or recalled.
