How Do You Make Things Interactive in Figma?

If you’re working on a design in Figma that you want to be interactive, there are a few things you can do to make it happen. First, you’ll need to create hotspots.

Hotspots are areas in your design that will be clickable or tappable. To create a hotspot, select the area you want to make interactive and then click the “Create Hotspot” button in the toolbar.

Once you’ve created your hotspots, you can then add interactions to them. To do this, select the hotspot and then click the “Add Interaction” button in the toolbar. This will open up the Interactions panel where you can specify what should happen when the hotspot is clicked or tapped.

PRO TIP: When making things interactive in Figma, be aware that you may accidentally create unwanted interactions. Make sure to test your design thoroughly before sharing it with others.

There are a few different types of interactions you can add:

– Go to Frame: This will cause the hotspot to navigate to another frame when clicked or tapped.
– Go to Link: This will cause the hotspot to open a link in a new window when clicked or tapped.
– Run Script: This will cause the hotspot to run a JavaScript script when clicked or tapped.

You can also specify how the transition between frames should animate. To do this, select the transition you want to use from the “Transition” dropdown in the Interactions panel.

And that’s all there is to making things interactive in Figma! By using hotspots and interactions, you can make your designs come alive and give your users a more immersive experience.
