How Do You Manipulate Text in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 11:27 pm

There are a few different ways that you can manipulate text in Canva. You can change the font, size, color, and alignment of your text. You can also add effects to your text, such as shadows or outlines.

To change the font of your text, simply click on the text box and then select the font you want from the drop-down menu. You can also change the size of your text by clicking on the drop-down menu next to the “A” icon.

PRO TIP: Canva is a great tool for creating beautiful designs, but it’s important to be aware of the potential risks of manipulating text in Canva. While it’s easy to change the font, size, color, and other attributes of text in Canva, it’s also easy to accidentally create errors that can be difficult to fix. For example, if you change the font size of a piece of text and then try to change the color, you may inadvertently create an error that can’t be fixed without starting over. So be careful when manipulating text in Canva, and always double-check your work before saving or publishing!

To change the color of your text, click on the colored square next to the “A” icon and then select the color you want from the palette. To align your text, click on one of the alignment buttons next to the “A” icon.

To add an effect to your text, click on the “Text” tab in the left sidebar and then select “Effects.” Here you will see a list of different effects that you can add to your text, such as shadows, outlines, or glows. Simply click on the effect you want to add and then adjust the settings to your liking.
