Merging photos is a great way to create interesting effects and add a unique touch to your photos. Photoshop has a variety of tools that you can use to merge photos together.

In this article, we’ll show you how to use the Photoshop Merge tool to create a composite image.

The first step is to open the two images that you want to merge in Photoshop. Once both images are open, select the Merge tool from the Tools palette. You can also access the Merge tool by pressing the “M” key on your keyboard.

With the Merge tool selected, click and drag over the area that you want to merge. A selection outline will appear around the area that you are merging. You can release the mouse button when you have made your selection.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use Photoshop to merge two or more photos, be aware that there are a few things that can go wrong. First, make sure that the photos you are merging are of the same size and resolution. Otherwise, the final image may look distorted or pixelated. Second, when merging multiple images, be careful about which layer each image is on. The top layer will be the most visible, so if you want a particular image to stand out, make sure it’s on the top layer. Finally, take care not to accidentally move or delete any layers while working – if you do, the final image may not look as you intended.

Now that you have made your selection, it’s time to adjust the settings for the Merge tool. In the Options bar, you can choose how the two images will be merged together. The default setting is “Normal”, but you can also choose from “Darken”, “Lighten”, “Screen”, “Multiply”, and “Linear Burn”.

Once you have chosen your desired setting, simply click on the “Merge” button in the Options bar. The two images will now be merged together! If you’re not happy with the results, simply undo the merge (Ctrl+Z) and try again with different settings.
