How Do You Paste a Gradient in Figma?

A gradient is a gradual transition of colors. In Figma, you can paste a color gradient into any frame, shape, or text object.

To paste a gradient:

1. Select the frame, shape, or text object you want to paste the gradient into. 2. Copy the color gradient from another program (like Photoshop).

3. In Figma, press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (macOS) to paste the gradient into the selected object. The color stops in the gradient will be automatically added to your project’s colors, and you can edit them in the Colors panel.

You can also style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags where applicable:

This text is underlined.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can end up with a gradient that is not evenly distributed across your object. This can create an unwanted effect and make your object look uneven. Be sure to check your work before moving on!
