When you’re working on a web design project, there are a few different ways that you can go about adding text to your design. One way is to use an HTML editor to add text directly to the code of your design. However, another way is to use a tool like Figma to add text directly to the design itself.

If you’re using Figma, one of the first things you’ll need to do is create a frame for your text. To do this, simply click on the “Frames” icon in the toolbar and then click on the “Text” option.

Once you’ve created a frame for your text, you can then begin typing out your text. As you type, you’ll notice that the text will automatically wrap around within the frame. If you want to change the way that the text wraps, simply click on the “Wrap” option in the toolbar and then choose from one of the three wrapping options: “None,” “Inline,” or “Flow.”

Once you’ve got your text wrapping how you want it, you can then start styling your text. To do this, simply select the text that you want to style and then click on the “Format” option in the toolbar. From here, you can change things like the font family, size, color, and more.

And that’s all there is to it! Adding text to your Figma design is a quick and easy process that anyone can do. So next time you’re working on a web design project, be sure to give Figma a try.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when pasting into a frame in Figma, you may end up with unwanted results. Make sure to select the correct frame before pasting, and be aware that some objects may not paste correctly into a frame.
