Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:24 am

There are two ways that you can publish your draft on Squarespace. The first way is to use the ‘Publish Draft’ button that is located at the bottom of your draft post.

The second way is to use the ‘Actions’ drop-down menu located at the top of your draft post and select ‘Publish. ‘

If you choose to use the ‘Publish Draft’ button, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to publish your post. Once you click ‘Publish,’ your post will go live on your website.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to publish a draft on Squarespace, be aware that there are some potential risks. First of all, if you do not have your draft saved in a separate location, it is possible that it could be overwritten or lost when you make changes to your site. Additionally, if you do not properly preview your draft before publishing it, you may inadvertently make changes that go live on your site. Finally, remember to always check your site after publishing a draft to ensure that everything looks the way you want it to.

If you choose to use the ‘Actions’ drop-down menu, you will be given the option to either ‘Publish’ or ‘Schedule’ your post. If you choose to ‘Publish’ your post, it will go live on your website immediately.

If you choose to ‘Schedule’ your post, you will be given the option to select a date and time for your post to go live. Once you have made your selection, click ‘Schedule’ and your post will be scheduled for publishing.
