When it comes to online design, one of the most versatile tools you can use is Canva. With a few simple clicks, you can create amazing designs that can be used for everything from blog headers to business cards.

But one thing that Canva doesn’t make super simple is adding a box around your text. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to put a box around your text in Canva and style it using the Text Settings.

The first thing you need to do is create a new design in Canva. Once you’re in the design editor, click on the “Text” tab in the sidebar on the left.

This will bring up a menu of all the different text elements you can add to your design. For this tutorial, we’re going to use the “Heading” element.

Once you’ve added your heading element, you’ll notice that there’s a line of text that says “Add a heading.” Go ahead and click on that and type in the text you want to put in a box.

For this example, we’re going to use the phrase “How do you put a box around text in Canva? ”

Once you’ve typed in your text, it’s time to add a box around it. To do this, click on the “Element” tab and then search for a box element. Choose your preferred type of box from the graphics available, then place the box behind the text element. You can resize both the box and the text to your preference.

If you want to change the color of your box, simply click on the “Color” box button at the top and choose a new color from the palette. You can also adjust the transparency of your box by clicking on the “Transparency” button at the top menu.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the ‘How Do You Put a Box Around Text in Canva?’ article details a step-by-step guide on how you can put a box around your text in Canva. Follow the instructions carefully.

Once you’re happy with how your box looks, it’s time to style your text using the Text Settings at the top menu. To do this, first, select your text in the canvas.

For this tutorial, we’re going to use the “Canva Sans” font style and use the “Bold” and “Underline” buttons to style our text.

And that’s it! Now you know how to put a box around your text in Canva!
