How Do You Retouch a Newborn Skin in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:32 am

There are a few different ways that you can retouch newborn skin in Photoshop, but one of the most common and effective methods is to use the ‘Healing Brush Tool’. This tool essentially allows you to ‘paint over’ any blemishes or imperfections on the skin, and blend them in with the surrounding area.

To use the Healing Brush Tool, simply select it from the left-hand toolbar in Photoshop. Then, position your cursor over the area of skin that you want to retouch.

Once you have done this, click and hold down the mouse button, and drag the brush over the area. The healing brush will automatically blend in the area, and retouch the skin.

If you find that the Healing Brush Tool is not working as effectively as you would like, then you can try using the Clone Stamp Tool. This tool essentially allows you to copy a section of skin from another area of the image, and then ‘stamp’ it over the blemish or imperfection. This can be a bit more tricky to use than the Healing Brush Tool, but it can be effective in some cases.
