How Do You Scrapbook With Canva?

Last updated on December 9, 2022 @ 4:17 am

When it comes to scrapbooking, there are a lot of different ways that you can go about it. You can use traditional methods, such as cutting out pictures and gluing them onto paper, or you can go the digital route and use a program like Canva.

Canva is a great way to scrapbook because it’s so versatile and easy to use. Plus, you can save your projects and come back to them later, which is perfect if you’re the type of person who likes to take their time with their scrapbooks.

If you’ve never used Canva before, don’t worry – it’s easy to learn. Just head over to the website and create an account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to start creating your first project.

To do this, click on the “Create a Design” button in the top-left corner of the screen. Then, select “Use Custom Dimensions” and enter in the dimensions for your project. For scrapbooking, I recommend using 8.5 x 11 inches or 11 x 14 inches.

Once you’ve selected your project dimensions, you’ll be taken to the main editor screen. This is where you can start adding content to your scrapbook.

To add photos, click on the “Uploads” tab in the left-hand sidebar and then drag-and-drop your photos into the editor. Once they’re uploaded, you can move them around and position them however you want.

In addition to photos, you can also add text, shapes, lines, and other elements to your scrapbook pages. To do this, just click on the relevant tab in the left-hand sidebar and then select the element that you want to add.

For example, if you want to add a shape, click on the “Shapes” tab and then choose the shape that you want to insert. Once you’ve added all of the content that you want, it’s time to save your work.

PRO TIP: This warning note is to inform you that Canva may not be the best scrapbooking tool for you. There are a few things to keep in mind when using Canva:
1. The quality of your photos may suffer when you upload them into Canva’s system.
2. You may not be able to achieve the same level of customization with your scrapbook as you would with other tools.
3. The learning curve for using Canva may be steeper than other scrapbooking software.

To save your scrapbook pages, click on the “File” menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select “Download As…”. From here, you can choose what format you want to save your file in. I recommend saving it as a JPEG or PNG so that you can easily print it out later.

So there you have it – that’s how easy it is to scrapbook with Canva!

Conclusion:

Scrapbooking with Canva is an easy process that anyone can follow without any prior experience!
