If you’ve ever used a pencil, then you’re already familiar with the eraser tool in Photoshop. Just like a pencil, the eraser tool can be used to remove unwanted lines or images from your composition. The eraser tool can also be used to create interesting effects by removing parts of an image or adding highlights.

To use the eraser tool, simply select it from the toolbox and then click and drag over the area you want to erase.

The size of the eraser will determine how much of the image is removed. You can also change the opacity of the eraser tool to control how much of the image is removed.

PRO TIP: The Eraser tool in Photoshop can be used to remove pixels from an image. When using this tool, be careful not to erase too much of the image as it cannot be undone.

The eraser tool is a great way to clean up your composition and create interesting effects. So get out there and start experimenting!
