How does Orders Work on Fiverr?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 10:39 pm

When someone places an order on Fiverr, they are submitting a request for a service or product. Once the order is placed, the seller begins to work on the order and completes it as best they can.

The seller then sends the customer a notification of the order’s completion. If there are any issues with the order, the seller will communicate these to the customer.

PRO TIP: If you’re considering ordering a gig on Fiverr, be aware that the platform doesn’t always work as intended. There have been reports of buyers not receiving the gigs they paid for, or of sellers not being paid for their work. If you do decide to use Fiverr, be sure to communicate with your seller/buyer and document everything (including screenshots) in case there’s a dispute.

The customer then has the option to either accept or reject the order. If the customer rejects the order, the seller will not be charged for their work on the order.

If the customer accepts the order, the seller will be charged for their work on the order and will receive a payment for their services.
