If you’re looking to get started with online advertising, one of the first places you should look is Facebook. Facebook Ads is a powerful tool that can help you reach a large audience with your product or service.

But what if you’re already using Shopify to run your online store? Can you still use Facebook Ads?

The short answer is yes, you can absolutely use Facebook Ads while using Shopify as your ecommerce platform. In fact, the two platforms can even be integrated to work together seamlessly. Here’s a look at how Shopify integrates with Facebook Ads and how you can take advantage of this powerful combination.

When you create a new campaign in Facebook Ads, you’ll be given the option to create what’s called a Custom Audience. This is where you can Target specific groups of people based on things like their location, age, gender, interests, and even purchase history.

One of the great things about Custom Audiences is that you can Target people who have already visited your website or made a purchase from your store. This is called website traffic Targeting and it’s a great way to get your message in front of people who are already interested in what you have to offer.

To set up website traffic Targeting, all you need to do is create a Custom Audience in Facebook Ads and then add a Pixel to your Shopify theme. The Pixel will track visitors to your site and send that information back to Facebook so that you can Target those users in your ads. You can find more information on setting up the Pixel here.

Once you’ve set up website traffic Targeting, there are a few other ways you can use Shopify and Facebook Ads together to maximize your results. For example,Shopify’s Order Status Page feature allows you to create a page that customers are redirected to after they make a purchase from your store. This page includes information on the status of their order and also allows them to leave feedback about their experience.

You can take advantage of the Order Status Page by adding a Pixel to it as well. This will allow you to track which customers have made a purchase from your store and then Target them with ads for products similar to what they just bought. You can also use this information to create Lookalike Audiences of potential customers who share similar characteristics with your best customers.

There are endless possibilities for how you can use Shopify and Facebook Ads together to grow your business. By taking advantage of features like website traffic Targeting and the Order Status Page, you can make sure that your ads are reaching the right people at the right time and driving real results for your business.
