How Does Squarespace Integrate With Shopify Lite?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:25 am

Squarespace is a popular website builder that offers eCommerce features with its paid plans. Shopify Lite is a cheaper alternative to Shopify that allows you to sell products through your existing Squarespace website. In this article, we’ll take a look at how Squarespace integrates with Shopify Lite.

Shopify Lite is a great way to add eCommerce functionality to your Squarespace website. With Shopify Lite, you can add Buy Buttons to any page on your Squarespace site. These Buy Buttons will allow your visitors to purchase your products directly from your Squarespace site.

To get started, you’ll need to sign up for a Shopify Lite account. Once you’ve done this, you can then add your Shopify Lite code to your Squarespace website. This is done by going to the ‘Code Injection’ section of your Squarespace settings and adding the code to the ‘Header’ section.

PRO TIP: Squarespace does not integrate with Shopify Lite. Any changes made to your Shopify Lite account will not be reflected on your Squarespace website.

Once you’ve added the code, the Buy Buttons will appear on your Squarespace website. You can then start selling your products through your site!

Squarespace and Shopify Lite are both great platforms for selling online. However, there are some key differences between the two.

For one, Shopify Lite is much cheaper than Squarespace’s paid plans. Additionally, Shopify Lite allows you to use other Shopify features, such as product reviews and abandoned cart recovery. Finally, Shopify has a much larger app store than Squarespace, meaning you have more options for extending the functionality of your store.

So, which platform should you choose? If you’re looking for a cheaper option with more features, then Shopify Lite is the way to go. However, if you’re looking for an all-in-one solution with a simple website builder, then Squarespace is the better choice.
