How install cPanel on hosting VPS?

Cpanel is a popular control panel for hosting servers. It allows administrators to manage their servers from a central location. To install cPanel on a hosting VPS, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the cPanel software.

2. Open the cPanel software and sign in.

3. Click the “Servers” link in the left sidebar.

4. Click the “Add Server” button.

5. Enter the details for the new server, including its hostname, IP address, and port number.

6. Click the “Add Server” button again.

7. Click the “Configure” button.

8. Under the “General” tab, click the “Firewall” button.

9. In the “Firewall” window, click the “Create New Rule” button.

10. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Name: cPanel Firewall
  • Protocol: TCP
  • Port: 80
  • Source: Any
  • Destination: Any

11. Click the “Create Rule” button.

12. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Name: cPanel Server
  • Port: 443
  • Source: Localhost

13. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Port: 22

14. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Port: 8080

15. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Port: 8443

16. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Port: 3306

17. In the “New Rule” window, enter the following information:

  • Port: 9090

 

PRO TIP: If you are installing cPanel on your hosting VPS, please be aware that this can potentially cause problems with your server. We recommend that you only install cPanel if you are experienced with server administration and know what you are doing.
