How Is Squarespace Billed?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:27 am

There are two ways to pay for your Squarespace subscription: monthly and yearly. Monthly billing costs more because you’re paying for your service on a month-to-month basis.

Yearly billing saves you money because you’re paying for your service all at once for an entire year.

Squarespace offers a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel before your 14 days are up, you won’t be charged anything.

If you cancel after the 14 days, you’ll be charged for the month (or year, if you’re on the yearly plan) that you used.

To cancel your Squarespace subscription, log into your account and go to Billing > Manage Account. Click Cancel Service at the bottom of the page.

PRO TIP: While Squarespace offers a free trial, you will eventually be billed for using the service. Be sure to cancel your account if you do not wish to continue using Squarespace.
