As a Canva contributor, you can earn a commission on the sales of your designs. When one of your designs is purchased, you will receive a percentage of the total sale price. The amount you earn will depend on the type of license that is purchased for the design.

Canva offers two types of licenses for designs: Standard and Extended. Standard licenses allow buyers to use your designs for personal, non-commercial purposes only. If a buyer wants to use your design for commercial purposes, they must purchase an Extended license.

Extended licenses start at $10 and go up to $250, depending on the intended use.

Contributors earn 50% commission on Standard license sales and 70% commission on Extended license sales. So, if someone buys a design with a Standard license for $1, you will earn $0.50. If someone buys an Extended license for your design at $10, you will earn $7.
