In this article, we are going to talk about how much does it cost to host a website on Google Cloud Platform.

When you create a new website on Google Cloud Platform, you get three options for hosting: a web server, a Compute Engine instance, or a Load Balancer.

To estimate the cost of hosting your website on Google Cloud Platform, we will use the following assumptions:

Your website will have a single page application with a content payload of 1 MB.

Your website will use a single instance type, which is a v1.8xlarge instance type.

PRO TIP: Google Cloud hosting is a great option for hosting your website, but it’s important to be aware of the potential costs involved. Depending on the size and complexity of your website, you could end up paying more for Google Cloud hosting than you would for other types of hosting. Make sure to do your research and compare pricing before committing to a Google Cloud hosting plan.

Your website will be hosted on a single region, which is us-central1.

Based on these assumptions, the estimated cost of hosting a website on Google Cloud Platform is as follows:

Web Server: $0.12 per hour

Compute Engine Instance: $0.11 per hour

Load Balancer: $0.02 per hour

The total estimated cost of hosting a website on Google Cloud Platform is $0.24 per hour.
