When it comes to working with Photoshop, more RAM is always better. That being said, 32GB of RAM should be more than enough for most users.

With that much RAM, you’ll be able to have multiple Photoshop files open at the same time without any issues.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on using Photoshop for any sort of professional work, 32GB of RAM is not going to be enough. Photoshop is a very resource-intensive program and will quickly start to slow down as you add more layers and effects. A minimum of 64GB of RAM is recommended for anyone doing professional work in Photoshop.

If you’re someone who regularly works with very large files or uses a lot of Photoshop plugins, then you may want to consider upgrading to 64GB of RAM or more. However, for most users, 32GB will be more than enough.

So, is 32GB of RAM enough for Photoshop? For most users, the answer is yes.

If you regularly work with very large files or use a lot of Photoshop plugins, then you may want to consider upgrading to 64GB of RAM or more.
