Is Helvetica in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:38 pm

Helvetica is a sans-serif typeface designed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger with input from Eduard Hoffmann.

It is a widely used neo-grotesque typeface, which is similar to Akzidenz-Grotesk and other German and Swiss sans-serifs, and was released as Neue Haas Grotesk by Linotype.

PRO TIP: If you are using the Figma design tool, be aware that there is no Helvetica font available. This can be a problem if you are used to using Helvetica in your designs. There are other similar fonts available, but they may not match your existing designs exactly.

The Helvetica design is a classic that has been used for decades in many different applications, from print to digital. Helvetica is still one of the most popular sans-serif typefaces available today.

While Helvetica is not available in Figma, there are plenty of other great sans-serif typefaces to choose from. If you’re looking for a similar typeface to Helvetica, try Arial, Avenir, or Futura. All of these typefaces are available in Figma.
