Is It Worth Upgrading to Canva Pro?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 5:56 pm

As someone who works in social media and content marketing, I’m always on the lookout for new tools to help me create better content more efficiently. So when I heard about Canva’s new Pro version, I was intrigued.

Canva is a user-friendly graphic design tool that is beloved by many in the online world. It has a free version with limited features, and a Pro version with more features for $12.95/month (or $9.95/month if you pay annually). So what does the Pro version offer that the free version doesn’t?

1. More Templates

The Pro version of Canva comes with access to more than 60,000 templates, while the free version only has access to 8,000. If you’re someone who likes to have a lot of options or who wants to be able to change up your designs often, this is a big selling point.

2. More Fonts

The Pro version also gives you access to more than 100 fonts, while the free version only has access to 30. This means you’ll have more options for customizing your text and making your designs look just the way you want them.

PRO TIP: Is It Worth Upgrading to Canva Pro?

If you’re a Canva user, you may be wondering if it’s worth upgrading to the Pro version. Here’s a rundown of the differences between the two versions to help you decide:

Canva Pro offers more features and customization options than the free version. However, it also comes with a monthly subscription fee.

The main difference between the two versions is that Canva Pro gives you access to more than 1 million photos, graphics, and fonts, while the free version only has a limited selection. Canva Pro also allows you to create custom dimensions for your designs and save your work in high-resolution files.

If you use Canva regularly for your work or business, upgrading to Pro may be worth the investment. However, if you only use it occasionally, the free version may be sufficient for your needs.

3. No Ads

Another perk of upgrading to Canva Pro is that you won’t have any ads popping up as you’re working on your designs. This can be really annoying when you’re in the middle of creating something and an ad pops up out of nowhere, interrupting your flow.

4. Priority Support

If you ever have any problems with Canva or have any questions, you’ll be able to get priority support from their team as a Pro user. This means you’ll get help faster and won’t have to wait as long for someone to get back to you.

So is it worth upgrading to Canva Pro?

I think it depends on how often you use Canva and how important having access to more features is for you. For me personally, I don’t use Canva enough to justify paying for the Pro version right now. But if I were using it on a daily basis or for client work, I would definitely upgrade so that I could take advantage of all the extra features.
