Katy Wix is an English actress, writer, and comedian. She is best known for her role as Daisy Steiner in the sitcom Not Going Out, for which she won the British Comedy Award for Best Female Newcomer in 2009. Wix has also appeared in the films Run Fatboy Run (2007), Wild Target (2010), and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa (2013).

Wix was born in Winchester, Hampshire, and grew up in Basingstoke, Hampshire. She attended Clifton Lodge School and Sixth Form College, before studying drama at the University of Manchester. After graduating, she worked as a drama teacher in a primary school.
Wix’s first television appearance was in an episode of the medical drama Casualty in 2006. The following year, she made her first appearance as Daisy Steiner in the sitcom Not Going Out.
She has appeared in all nine series of the show to date. In 2009, she won the British Comedy Award for Best Female Newcomer for her role on Not Going Out.
