Photoshop is a widely used program for crafting digital images. Many people are unaware, however, of its potential for creating interesting audio as well. Photoshop’s noise brush tool can be used to create all sorts of interesting sounds and effects.

The noise brush tool is located in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. To use it, simply select the brush tool and then click on the noise brush icon.

The noise brush tool works by creating a new layer of noise on top of the existing image. By default, the noise brush tool will create white noise, but it can be customized to create different types of noise.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the noise brush in Photoshop can be very loud and may cause damage to your hearing if used without proper precautions. Always use ear protection when using this brush and be sure to keep the volume low to avoid any potential harm.

To customize the noise brush tool, simply click on the drop-down menu next to the word “Noise.” This will give you a number of options for customizing the type of noise that is generated.

For example, you can choose to generate pink noise, brown noise, or even violet noise. Each type of noise has its own unique sound and can be used to create different types of effects.

Once you have selected the type of noise you want to generate, you can then adjust the strength of the noise by moving the slider next to the word “Strength.” The higher you set the strength, the more pronounced the effect will be. You can also adjust the size of the brush by clicking on the drop-down menu next to “Size.”

The noise brush tool is a great way to add interest and depth to your digital audio projects. By experimenting with different types of noises, you can create all sorts of unique sounds and effects. So don’t be afraid to experiment with this powerful tool!
