As someone who is always looking for new and better ways to do things, I was curious to know if there was an eraser tool in Canva. For those who don’t know, Canva is a free online design platform that is beloved by users for its ease of use and wide array of tools and features.
While it doesn’t have everything, it does offer a lot. So, I set out to find out if there was an eraser tool hidden away in Canva somewhere.
Unfortunately, after doing some digging, it looks like there is no eraser tool available in Canva. This is a shame, as it would be a really useful tool to have.
However, all is not lost! There are some workarounds that you can use to achieve a similar effect.
One workaround is to simply use the crop tool. This can be used to ‘erase’ parts of your image that you don’t want.
Simply select the area you want to keep and then crop out the rest. This isn’t a perfect solution, but it can work in a pinch.
Another workaround is to use the transparency tool. This tool allows you to make parts of your image transparent, effectively ‘erasing’ them. To use this tool, simply select the part of your image you want to make transparent and then adjust the transparency level until you’re happy with the results.
So, while there is no eraser tool available in Canva, there are some ways you can achieve a similar effect using other tools. So don’t despair if you can’t find an eraser tool!
