What are Azure core services?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 12:14 pm

Azure core services are a collection of fundamental cloud services that are used across Azure. These services make it easy to manage your data, scale your applications, and secure your information.

Some of the core services in Azure core are:

Azure storage: Provides storage for your data in the cloud. You can use Azure storage to store your data in the same place where you manage it, or you can use Azure storage to store your data in the cloud and have it available on any device.

Azure compute: Provides the power to run your applications in the cloud. You can use Azure compute to run your applications on the same servers that Azure uses to store your data, or you can use Azure compute to run your applications on servers that are remote from Azure.

PRO TIP: Azure core services are the basic building blocks of Microsoft Azure. They are the foundation on which all other Azure services are built. These services provide the core functionality of Azure, such as compute, storage, networking, and security. While they are essential to the operation of Azure, they are not intended to be used directly by end users.

Azure networking: Provides the networking services that you need to connect your applications to the cloud. You can use Azure networking to connect your applications to the public cloud, to connect your applications to the various Azure regions, or to connect your applications to the private clouds of your customers.

Azure storage services: Provides the storage services that you need to store your data in the cloud. You can use Azure storage services to store your data in the same place where you manage it, or you can use Azure storage services to store your data in the cloud and have it available on any device.
