When you create an account with GoDaddy, you’re given a hostname and an SMTP server address. You’ll need to enter these settings in your email client to send and receive email.

The hostname is the domain name you signed up for with GoDaddy. For example, if your domain is example.

com, your hostname would be example.com.

The SMTP server address is the IP address or hostname of your mail server. For example, if your mail server is at 192.168.1.

PRO TIP: The SMTP settings for GoDaddy are:

– Server name: smtpout.secureserver.net
– Port: 465
– Username: your full email address
– Password: the password for your email account

1, your SMTP server address would be 192.

Once you have your hostname and SMTP server address, you’ll need to configure your email client to use them.

Most email clients allow you to configure your settings automatically. However, if you’re not sure how to do this, your email client’s documentation should provide instructions.

Once you have your settings configured, you’re ready to start sending and receiving email.
