What Are Wix Website Dimensions?

When creating a website on Wix, you may have noticed that there are pre-set dimensions for each page. For example, the home page is always 810px wide, while the blog page is 940px wide. But what if you want to create a custom page size or use a different template? In this article, we’ll explain what Wix website dimensions are and how to change them.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Wix website dimensions are the width and height of each page on your website. The width is always set to 810px, but the height can be customized.

To change the height of a page, simply click on the “Page Settings” button in the top right corner and adjust the “Page Height” setting.

PRO TIP: When creating a Wix website, be aware of the dimensions of your site. Make sure that your site is at least 1200px wide and that your content is within the bounds of the site. Also, be sure to check the size of your images and videos before uploading them to your site. If they are too large, they may not load properly or look distorted on your page.

You can also change the width of your pages by clicking on the “Site Settings” button in the left sidebar and adjusting the “Site Width” setting. However, we recommend leaving this setting at 810px as it provides the best balance between content and white space.

If you want to create a custom page size or use a different template, you can do so by clicking on the “Add Page” button in the left sidebar and selecting “Custom Page.” From here, you can enter your desired width and height. Keep in mind that custom pages will only display correctly on desktop browsers; mobile visitors will still see the standard 810px width.

In conclusion, Wix website dimensions are preset at 810px wide for all pages with customizable heights. To change width or height settings, click on either the “Page Settings” or “Site Settings” button in the top right corner or left sidebar respectively. You can also create custom pages with different dimensions; however, these will only display correctly on desktop browsers.
