What Is Ditto Figma?

Ditto is a Figma plugin that allows you to duplicate any object on the canvas, and then move it around independently from the original. This is great for creating variations of an object, or for making small changes to an object without affecting the original.

To use Ditto, simply select an object on the canvas, and then click the “Ditto” button in the plugin panel. This will create a copy of the object, which you can then move around independently from the original.

PRO TIP: Ditto is a popular Figma plugin that allows you to duplicate elements within your design. However, it can also cause issues with your design if not used correctly. For example, if you duplicate a group of elements and then move one of the duplicated elements, the other duplicated elements will not move with it. This can create problems with your design and may require you to redo your work. Use Ditto carefully and always check your design before exporting or sharing it.

You can also hold down the Shift key while clicking the “Ditto” button to create multiple copies of the object at once. This is great for quickly creating a series of objects that are similar, but not identical.

The Ditto plugin is a great way to save time when creating variations of an object, or when making small changes to an object without affecting the original. Give it a try today!
