Invoices are typically issued at the completion of a sale, but may also be issued in advance of the sale, such as when goods are ordered but not yet delivered. An invoice may be for physical goods sold, or for services rendered, such as website design.

Invoices usually contain the following information:

WooCommerce is a plugin for WordPress that lets you turn your WordPress site into an ecommerce store. WooCommerce comes with its own built in payment system which includes the option to send invoices to your customers.

When you create an order in WooCommerce, you have the option to send an invoice to your customer. This can be done from the order screen by clicking on the “Send Invoice” button.

When you click on this button, WooCommerce will generate an invoice for the order and send it to the customer’s email address. The invoice will contain all of the details about the order, including the products purchased, quantities, prices, shipping charges and taxes.

At the bottom of the invoice will be a “Pay Now” button which will take the customer to a page where they can enter their payment information and complete the purchase.

conclusion: All in all, an invoice in WooCommerce is simply a document sent to a customer from a seller that contains all relevant information regarding a purchase – including items purchased, quantities, prices, shipping charges and taxes. You have the option to send invoices to customers from within WooCommerce itself, and doing so is as simple as clicking on a button from the order screen.
