What Is My Shopify Store Address?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 7:57 pm

If you’re new to Shopify, you might be wondering: what is my Shopify store address?

First, it’s important to understand that every Shopify store has two types of addresses:

1. The primary domain

This is the main address people will use to visit your store.

It’s also the address you’ll use when logging in to your Shopify admin.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your Shopify store address, be aware that there is no specific address for your store. Your store’s URL is determined by the domain name you choose when you set up your store. For example, if you choose the domain name “mystore.myshopify.com”, your store’s URL will be “https://mystore.myshopify.com”.

For example, if your store’s name is “Example Store”, your primary domain might be “www.example.com”.

2. The subdomain

Your subdomain is a unique address that can be used to visit your store, and it’s based on your primary domain. However, unlike your primary domain, your subdomain can be customized.

For example, if your store’s name is “Example Store” and your primary domain is “www.com”, your subdomain might be “store.

How to find your Shopify store address
To find your Shopify store address:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
  2. Click Settings. From the General section, click Store addresses.

Under “Domain name”, you’ll see both your primary domain and subdomain listed.

If you haven’t set up a custom subdomain yet, then you’ll just see your primary domain listed.

Your Shopify store address is important because it’s how customers will find and visit your store. If you’re just getting started with Shopify, then you can use the default subdomain that’s assigned to you. However, we recommend customizing your subdomain so that it’s more memorable and easy to say or type.
