The rounded rectangle tool is one of the basic shape tools in Photoshop. It allows you to create a rectangular shape with rounded corners.

You can set the radius of the corners, and adjust the width and height of the rectangle. The rounded rectangle tool is found in the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

To use the rounded rectangle tool, select it from the toolbar and then click and drag on the canvas to create a rectangle. The longer you drag, the larger the rectangle will be.

To create a perfect square, hold down the shift key while dragging. To create a circle, hold down the alt key while dragging. You can also input specific values for the width and height in the options bar at the top of the screen.

PRO TIP: The Rounded Rectangle Tool in Photoshop can be used to create rounded corners on rectangular shapes. However, if not used correctly, it can cause your image to look distorted. Be sure to use the tool with care and avoid creating too many rounded corners on your image.

Once you have created a rectangular shape, you can adjust the radius of the corners by going to Edit > Transform > Warp. This will bring up a grid over your shape.

To change the radius of a corner, click on one of the corner points and drag it in or out. You can also click on any of the points along the edge of the shape and drag them to change its overall shape.
