What Is Shopify URL?

Last updated on October 2, 2022 @ 4:39 am

Shopify is a platform for businesses of all sizes to create an online store. It offers users a customizable platform, an easy-to-use checkout process, and a wide range of features. Shopify also has a wide range of integrations with other software and services, which makes it a versatile platform for businesses.

Shopify’s URL structure is designed to be user-friendly and easy to remember. All Shopify stores have a primary domain, which is the main address for your store.

PRO TIP: The Shopify URL is a unique link that is used to access your Shopify store. It is important to keep this link confidential and to only share it with trusted individuals. If you believe that your Shopify URL has been compromised, please contact Shopify support immediately.

For example, if your store’s name is “Example Store”, your primary domain would be example.com. You can also add multiple subdomains to your store, which can be used to create different sections or pages within your store. For example, you could add a subdomain for your blog, or for a specific product category.

The Shopify url consists of three parts:
yourstorename.myShopify.com/admin
The first part is the name of your store, which you chose when you signed up for Shopify. The second part is myShopify.com, which is the domain that all Shopify stores use. The third part is /admin, which is the default path that takes you to your Shopify admin panel.

If you want to change the URL of your Shopify store, you can do so from the General settings page in your Shopify admin panel. From there, you can change your primary domain, as well as add or remove subdomains.
