What is the difference between UX and UI designer and Web designer?

UX and UI designer are two very different types of designers that work with the user experience and the look and feel of a website or app. A web designer creates the overall look and feel of a website, from the layout and design down to the content. They might also work on the front-end coding and make sure the site looks and functions the way the client wants it to. A UI designer, on the other hand, focuses on the user experience.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that there is a difference between UX and UI designers and web designers. UX designers focus on the user experience of a product, while UI designers focus on the visual design and interactivity of a product. Web designers focus on the design and development of websites.

They think about how the site or app will look and feel when someone uses it, from the menus to the buttons to the overall look and feel. They might also work on the back-end coding and make sure the site or app works the way it is supposed to.
