Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:41 am

There are two types of text editors available on Wix – the Wix Editor and Editor X. Both editors allow you to create and edit text, but there are some key differences between them.

The Wix Editor is the more traditional of the two editors, and is the one that most users will be familiar with. It has a simple toolbar with all the basic text editing features, such as bold, italic, underline, and so on.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

It also has some more advanced features, such as the ability to create lists and add links. However, it lacks some of the more modern features found in Editor X.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Wix Editor and Editor X are two different things. Wix Editor is a website builder while Editor X is an advanced web creation platform.

Editor X is a newer editor that is designed to be more user-friendly and easier to use. It has a similar toolbar to the Wix Editor, but also includes some additional features, such as the ability to change the font size and style, and add images and videos.

It also has a ‘blocks’ feature that allows you to easily add different types of content, such as text, images, videos, buttons, and so on. Overall, Editor X provides a more comprehensive editing experience than the Wix Editor.

So, what is the difference between Wix Editor and Editor X? In short, Editor X is a newer editor that is designed to be more user-friendly and easier to use.
