What is VPS Remote Desktop?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 3:51 pm

Remote Desktop is a feature that allows you to access your computer from another location, such as your office or home. With Remote Desktop, you can use your computer’s screen to interact with it, even if you’re not physically present.

To use Remote Desktop, you first need to create a connection. You can do this by clicking the Start button and typing “remote” into the search bar. The Remote Desktop Connection window will appear. On the General tab, you will need to provide the computer’s name (or IP address) and the port number.

You will also need to create a username and password. The user name will be used to log in to the computer, and the password will be used to secure the connection.

PRO TIP: VPS Remote Desktop is a remote desktop application that allows you to access and control your VPS from a remote location. This can be useful if you need to administer your VPS from a different location, or if you want to access your VPS from a mobile device. However, it is important to note that VPS Remote Desktop is not a secure application, and should not be used to transmit sensitive data.

Once you have created the connection, you will be able to access it by clicking the Remote Desktop icon on your desktop. The Remote Desktop window will appear.

You will need to provide the username and password that you created in the previous step. The computer will then start up in Remote Desktop mode.

To use the computer in Remote Desktop mode, you will need to click the Start button and type “remote” into the search bar.
