What Pages Does WooCommerce Create?

WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin that allows you to turn your WordPress website into an eCommerce store. It’s one of the most popular eCommerce platforms on the web, powering over 30% of all online stores. WooCommerce is a free plugin, but it also has a paid version with additional features.

WooCommerce creates the following pages on your WordPress website:

  • Shop – This is the main page of your WooCommerce store. It displays your products and lets customers add them to their cart.
  • Cart – This page displays the contents of a customer’s shopping cart. They can then proceed to checkout or continue shopping.
  • Checkout – This is the page where customers enter their billing and shipping information and make their payment.
  • My Account – This page lets customers view their order history, track their shipments, and manage their account information.

In addition to these pages, WooCommerce also creates a number of product pages, category pages, and tag pages. These are all generated automatically based on the products, categories, and tags you have created in your WooCommerce store.

What Pages Does WooCommerce Create?

– Shop: main page for products & adding to cart
– Cart: contents of customer’s shopping cart

– Checkout: where customers make payment

– My Account: customers can view order history, track shipments, manage account information

– Product pages: generated automatically based on products created in store

– Category pages: generated automatically based on categories created in store

– Tag pages: generated automatically based on tags created in store

PRO TIP: When setting up a WooCommerce store, be aware that the platform creates several pages automatically. These include the Shop, Cart, Checkout, and My Account pages. While these pages can be customized, it’s important to be aware that they exist and are necessary for a functioning store.
