What Payment Options Are Available on Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 4:37 am

When it comes to setting up an online store, one of the first things you need to think about is how you’re going to accept payments. Wix makes it easy to take payments on your site using a variety of different methods. In this article, we’ll go over some of the most popular payment options available on Wix.

Wix accepts payments via credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. You can also set up recurring payments for customers who want to subscribe to your service or product.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Wix does not currently offer payment options other than through its own platform. This means that if you are using Wix to sell products or services, you will need to use a third-party payment processor such as PayPal or Stripe. While Wix does have plans to add more payment options in the future, there is no set timetable for when this will happen. In the meantime, please be sure to take this into account when setting up your online store.

To accept credit and debit card payments, you’ll need to sign up for a merchant account with a payment processor like Stripe or Authorize.net. Wix also has its own built-in payment processor, Wix Payments, which is available in certain countries.

If you’re selling physical goods, you’ll need to set up shipping options and rates. Wix makes it easy to add shipping options and calculate rates based on the weight and size of your products. You can also offer free shipping for certain orders, or set up flat rate shipping if you have products that are always shipped for the same price.

Once you’ve got your payment and shipping options set up, you’re ready to start selling! Wix makes it easy to add products and create beautiful pages for your online store.
