What Table Are WooCommerce Orders?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:44 pm

When you first set up WooCommerce, you may be wondering what table your orders are stored in. By default, WooCommerce stores orders in the WordPress database.

Each order is stored as a post type. You can view these orders by going to WooCommerce > Orders in your WordPress admin area.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to manage your orders, it is important to know what table WooCommerce orders are stored in. By default, WooCommerce orders are stored in the wp_posts table. However, if you have custom post types or other data in your WordPress database, it is possible that your WooCommerce orders could be stored in a different table. If you are unsure which table your WooCommerce orders are stored in, you can contact your hosting provider or database administrator for help.

If you want to change the location of your WooCommerce orders, you can use a plugin like Advanced Custom Fields to store them in a different database table. Or, you can use the WooCommerce Order Export & Import Plugin to export your orders and then import them into a different database table.

In conclusion, WooCommerce orders are stored in the WordPress database by default. However, you can use a plugin to change the location of your orders if you wish.
