Where Are WooCommerce Invoices?

As the world’s most popular eCommerce platform, WooCommerce gives you a lot of control over your store’s invoicing. By default, WooCommerce generates PDF invoices and stores them on your server.

You can then download these PDFs or have them emailed to you. If you want more control over your invoices, or if you need to comply with accounting regulations, you can use a plugin to add features to WooCommerce invoicing.

There are a few plugins that add features to WooCommerce invoicing. One popular plugin is WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips. This plugin adds a number of features to WooCommerce invoicing, including the ability to customize the invoice design, send invoices to customers automatically, and attach invoices to order emails.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your WooCommerce invoices, be warned that they may not be where you expect them to be. According to WooCommerce’s documentation, invoices are not stored in the same location as other WooCommerce order information.

Instead, WooCommerce invoices are stored as PDF files in your WordPress media library. To find your WooCommerce invoices, go to the WordPress media library (under “Media” in the WordPress dashboard) and look for files with the name pattern “wc-order-{order_number}-{invoice_number}.pdf”.

Another popular plugin for WooCommerce invoicing is WP Invoice. This plugin adds the ability to create and send invoices from within WordPress, track payments, and manage clients. WP Invoice also integrates with a number of accounting software packages, making it easy to keep track of your finances.

If you need more control over your WooCommerce invoices, or if you need to comply with accounting regulations, you can use a plugin to add features to WooCommerce invoicing.
