Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 3:13 pm

If you’re new to Photoshop, you may be wondering where the animation panel is. After all, Photoshop is a powerful tool for creating stunning graphics, and you may be eager to create animated GIFs or other animations.

Fortunately, finding the animation panel in Photoshop is easy. Simply go to Window > Animation to open it. If you don’t see the Animation panel, you may need to first go to Window > Workspace > Essentials before it appears.

PRO TIP: The Animation Panel in Photoshop is not where you think it is. It’s actually in the Window menu, under the ‘Workspace’ submenu. If you’re looking for it in the ‘Window’ menu, you won’t find it.

Once you have the Animation panel open, you’ll see a timeline at the bottom.

This is where you can create keyframes and control your animation. To create a keyframe, simply click on the ‘Create Keyframe’ button.

You can then add your graphics or other content to that keyframe. Once you have multiple keyframes, you can use the ‘Play’ button to preview your animation.

The Animation panel in Photoshop is located in Window > Animation. The Animation panel contains a timeline at the bottom where you can create keyframes and control your animation.
