Where Is the Assets Panel in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 1:27 am

The Assets panel is located on the right side of the Figma interface, next to the Layers panel. It contains all of the assets that you have uploaded to your project, as well as any colors, fonts, or other styles that you have created.

You can use the Assets panel to quickly find and use any asset in your project. To do this, simply click on an asset in the panel and it will be inserted into your design.

PRO TIP: The Assets panel in Figma is not where you expect it to be. It’s actually hidden away in the Layers panel. To find it, click on the Layers icon in the top-left corner of the screen and then click on the Assets tab at the bottom of the panel.

If you need to find an asset quickly, you can use the search bar at the top of the panel. Simply type in what you’re looking for and Figma will show you all of the matching assets.

You can also organize your assets into folders by clicking on the “Create Folder” button at the bottom of the panel. This is a great way to keep your project organized and tidy.

The Assets panel is a powerful tool that can help you save time and be more productive when working in Figma. So make sure to take advantage of it!
